GTK2/Perl frontend for Rdesktop.

What is Xrdesktop2?

A simple Perl program with GTK2 bindings, which operates as a frontend to Rdesktop.

Xrdesktop2's intent is to handle Rdesktop's available commandline options, by presenting them in a [Perl/GTK2] GUI. Xrdesktop2 currently handles most any of the options you're likely to be interested in. Future versions will undoubtedly add more.

Xrdesktop2 successfully runs at least on Linux(386), Linux(Itanium), FreeBSD, BSD/OS, Solaris, Cygwin, Mac-OS X, HP-UX and many more.

Xrdesktop2 is Open Source Software and released under a BSD-2clause license.

Installation

Installation using the FreeBSD ports system:

cd /usr/ports/net/xrdesktop2 make install clean

Using the FreeBSD pkg system:

pkg install net/xrdesktop2
